Trees

Watering: Place a hose near the root ball for 25-30 minutes on a slow trickle every other day during normal conditions. Water more often in warmer temperatures and if leaves start to show sign of wilting. Use caution with evergreens (needle and broad leaf) or if you have clay soil, make sure not to over water and drown your tree.

Shrubs

Watering: Soak root ball for 30 seconds to a minute, depending on the size of the plant. Do this every other day during hot, dry conditions. During cool or wet periods use your best judgment on watering.
